Essay on a Problem - Writing Essays on a Problem

It is normal to hear individuals recorded as a hard copy classes talk about tackling an issue in one section and afterward clarifying the issue in a subsequent passage, however what is the distinction between doing as such and composing an article about an issue? Here are three motivations to compose papers about a problem:

To give perusers a sample of your job, or your genuine encounters. To examine your aptitude or the issues you are most appropriate to comprehend. To introduce your contemplations or assessments on the problem.

There are a few significant things to remember when composing expositions about an issue. It is imperative to clarify your sentiment on an issue such that causes your perusers to comprehend the issue and your assessments. That way, when they read your exposition, they will have an unequivocal assessment of your opinions.

As you can see, composing an article about an issue is tied in with getting your perusers to genuinely consider the issue, and offer you their real input. It is additionally critical to give them a sample of your skill, and to cause them to put stock in your ability. A great deal of times this is the main way an issue can be fathomed, or probably nobody will try taking care of the issue. Individuals will take care of their issues without composing an article, yet just by tuning in to their difficult solveers. Since such a large number of individuals don't have genuine specialists, their answers are such a great amount of better than those of genuine experts.

If you are attempting to compose an exposition on an issue, consider what you are really acceptable at and talk about that. Attempt to think of whatever number approaches to take care of an issue as could reasonably be expected. It is critical to give your perusers a sample of your job. All things considered, nobody would peruse a novel, and afterward attempt to understand a novel that just gave them a sample of what they would get from the book.

Good Essay Topics Over Iliad

Good Essay Topics Over IliadAn Iliad essay is a very good topic for a student. What does this mean? It means that if you are one of those students who are having trouble writing essays or have been asked to write an essay with a tough subject, the Iliad is your solution. As previously mentioned, the Iliad is a great topic for any college student. If you are struggling to come up with topics for your essay, why not try this as a topic? It is full of interesting facts, characters, and battles that will definitely help you learn a lot about your favorite heroes. It will make for a good topic for your essay. The Iliad, in my opinion, is a very powerful and effective topic to use when writing an essay. There are several reasons for this:One of the main reasons that the Iliad is such a good topic for essays is because it is short. So if you want to come up with an interesting topic for your essay, you don't have to spend too much time to come up with something that will only last you about 5 minutes to an hour. But Iliad is so short, that it is definitely a good article to save yourself time and maybe even make more money.Another reason that the Iliad is a good topic for an essay is because of the literary quality of it. The Iliad is a long epic poem, so if you're looking for a topic that has a long thesis statement, the Iliad is the best choice. Unlike some topics that are written in prose, the Iliad is written in poetry. There are two more reasons that I like the Iliad as a topic for an essay. First of all, Iliad is written in a way that makes it extremely readable. Many of the ancient heroes are very memorable, so if you use this as a topic for your essay, you'll be able to quote them easily. A lot of people remember specific quotes from a character or the scene from which they are coming. Finally, the Iliad is a great topic for a student because it is about real-life heroes. For example, Achilles was one of the greatest heroes in Greek history, but no one mentions hi m in history class. If you use this as a topic for your essay, you'll be able to quote him easily and use his story to help explain a part of your life.

To Kill a Mockingbird Atticus Finchs Courage free essay sample

TKM Courage In the 1930s, not many white people had courage for anything that meant standing up for anothers race. Any old fool can have courage. But back then, it took real courage to stand up for another race, even for a white lawyer who was loved by the town of Maycomb, Alabama. Atticus Finch had courage all throughout the story of To Kill A Mockingbird. He didnt Just have courage in his work, he stood up for what he thought was right. And for the courage he showed, it made everyone around him a better person as well as making them realize what was right from wrong. One quote that stood out the most to me in this story was by Atticus, Courage is not a man with a gun in his hand. Its knowing youre licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. We will write a custom essay sample on To Kill a Mockingbird: Atticus Finchs Courage or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page You rarely win, but sometimes you do. First off, how do we define courage? Its not something obviously given overnight, but its something that can be fgured out as a person goes through life. Atticus probably did not have it all of his life, but he did know right from wrong and what was and was not fair. This quote is trying to explain or tell that courage is not lways knowing all the right answers to solve every problem. You should go with your gut instinct and know that you may fail yet still do it, because its the right thing to do. And Atticus did that with Tom Robinson in the novel. He knew if he defended him he would be hated. However, Atticus defended Tom Robinson anyways because he had enough courage to stand up for what he believed in. There are some things in life that can not be changed. Changes may be determined by majority opinion or by a representative vote. The quote that ties in with that tatement is said by Atticus, One thing that doesnt abide by majority rule is a persons conscience. That quote or statement relates to this story so much, because a persons conscience has a lot to do with courage and knowing the right thing to do. Atticus was implying that no one can vote on what one has to do in life or tell one whats right or wrong. Its up to the individual to listen to his or her conscience. Atticus had enough courage to listen to his conscience and stand up for Tom and what he beli eved in to help this African American mans defense. In the 1930s in Alabama that wasnt always the smartest thing to do, defend an African American, especially if you were a white man. Atticus did not allow anyone to tell him what was the right thing to do. A vote doesnt have to be taken to decide if a decision is right or wrong. Atticus did not listen to other peoples opinions, instead he listened to his conscience. He made Scout realize the right thing in life. Therefore, many people benefited from his action. jailhouse where Tom Robinson was staying the night before the trial. Atticus realizes men were coming to hurt Tom so Atticus went down to the Jailhouse to stop Tom rom getting hurt. A mob of white men showed up to the Jailhouse, more than likely the Klu Klux Klan members. And unfortunately, Atticus was the only one out there. By now, everyone hated Atticus because he was defending a black man in a court case and being his lawyer. The mob of white men told Atticus to move, but but he said he wasnt leaving. Alone, this is an example of how much courage and bravery it took for Atticus to say to a group of KKK members, because Atticus could of been killed or badly hurt. However, Atticus strongly stood up for what he believed in no matter hat the outcome was and always following through with standing up for Tom and for his beliefs. Atticuss bravery evidently rubbed off on Scout because she ended up saving him at the Jailhouse which in itself showed courage Atticus did not do any of these acts to get noticed, but he did them because they were and are the right things to do. To him, it didnt matter the color of your skin, he Just wanted the situation to be fair. Real courage defined by Atticus is to know that you are going to lose, and to follow through with it the entire way. Atticus Finch, an honest lawyer in Harper Lees novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, teaches the children that courage can be portrayed as both physical bravery and strength, and that fghting for what you believe in is right regardless of whether you win or lose. In life, we witness incredible acts of courage everyday from police and firefighters to everyday men and women like you and me. You cant teach people courage, because it is something that is found down deep inside of us. It takes a lot of courage to show what you are made of. Atticus showed his true measure of courage all throughout this book. And it proved to make an impact on everyone around him.

Сompare and Сontrast the Lottery and the Rocking Horse Winner

There are many elements of literature, imagery, style, and tone that contribute to the creation of the overall spirit of the work, and shape the reader’s perception of the plot, the main characters, and the overall message of the literary piece. These elements are often used in their direct meaning, thus enforcing a direct effect on the reader; however, there also are cases when they are used in a controversial manner, making the impression from the read piece stronger and even more emphatic.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Ð ¡ompare and Ð ¡ontrast: the Lottery and the Rocking Horse Winner specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More The tone of the work is significant in its terms as well because it creates the fleur of seriousness, light-mindedness, sadness or cheerfulness, introducing the reader to the world of the literary work, and even making him or her the participant of events. Symbols are the fruitful addit ion to the literary stylistic devices, since they add the third dimension of the plot and message, showing what cannot be expressed by words, and making the work lively. All these issues have found their direct and at times sophisticated realization in the works of Shirley Jackson and D.H. Lawrence. These two works are remarkable from the point of view of investigating the impact of tone, style, and symbol in a literary work. Thus, for example, the topic of question of tone becomes extremely topical in Jackson’s work â€Å"The Lottery† that in itself represents a contradiction, controversy, and conflict. The opening lines of the short story presuppose some cheerful scenario, some picturesque place and a holiday-suggesting lexicon: â€Å"The morning of June 27th was clear and sunny, with the fresh-summer day; the flowers were blossoming profusely and the grass was richly green† (Jackson, 1949, p. 5). The beginning clearly suggests a lovely landscape, a beautiful day, and the similarly pleasant continuation of the plot. Nonetheless, the short story’s essence, plot, and message are quite different from the beginning setting people on a positive tone and perceiving the lottery as something rewarding and interesting for the villagers. The only fact that the ritual is of vital importance does not cause any doubts, since there is much attention to every detail, to every participant of the events, to the black box and the responsibilities of the lottery’s chairman as well. The meaning of being the chosen, picking the black spot from the box, is not open until the end of the work, though the tone comes to its correct form by the end of the short story, changing rapidly after the choice falls on Mr. Hutchinson, and the fierce protection he gets from his wife, the ultimate victim of the medieval, bloody tradition. Lawrence’s story, â€Å"The Rocking Horse Winner†, is much more consistent in terms of plot, style, and tone o f the story. However, though the tone of the stony is quite pessimistic, gloomy, depressing, with short sentences and broken phrases, there is much irony at the beginning of the work, showing that the author himself does not consider the hardships faced by the family so hard and awful as they are depicted. This irony may be quite well felt in the phrases such as:Advertising Looking for essay on comparative literature? Let's see if we can help you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More â€Å"†¦there must be more money. The father, who was always very handsome and expensive in his tastes, seemed as if he never would be able to do anything worth doing. And the mother, who ha a great belief in herself, did not succeed any better, and her tastes were just as expensive† (Lawrence, 1926, p. 552). The irony is striking – people who cannot find any money to let their children study well can afford expensive tastes, and at the same time they call themse lves â€Å"the poor members of the family† (Lawrence, 1926, p. 553). They buy expensive toys for their children, they use the services of taxi, but they remain poor because they do not live up to their wishes and ambitions. The talk of mother with her son Paul is also quite ironic, though it also contains some symbolism of the concept of luck. Their family traditionally ties luck with money, but Paul dies a young and rich person, which cannot be considered luck at all. Hence, the crisis of belief, understanding, and morale in the family is shown through an ironic representation of their so-called ‘poverty’ and the dramatic effect of that perception imposed on Paul at an early age. Irony is also present in â€Å"The Lottery†, though it is quite far from being ironic in its whole sense. The talk between Old Man Warner and Mr. Adams is very ironic – Old Man Warner compares the refusal from the lottery in other towns to degradation – â€Å"theyà ¢â‚¬â„¢ll be wanting to back to living in caves, nobody work anymore† (Jackson, 1949, p. 14). However, it is clear that the very ritual is a remnant of the dark, medieval, illiterate, cruel, nearly pagan times when people believed that killing one chosen person was useful for their harvest – â€Å"Lottery in June, corn be heavy soon† (Jackson, 1949, p. 14). Contrasting the works according to their style and tone, one should surely note that they can also be compared concerning the symbolism in works; besides the proverb about the good harvest, the symbol of the black box is very strong in Jackson’s story, and the symbol of the rocking horse also occupies the central place in the work â€Å"The Rocking Horse Winner†. It is obvious that the mistaken perception of luck compared directly with money leads to further misconceptions, and the boy draws a parallel between his luck and the rocking horse. Hence, these symbols distinguish both works and allow a strong comparison between them.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Ð ¡ompare and Ð ¡ontrast: the Lottery and the Rocking Horse Winner specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More As it comes from the present comparison and contrast, the stylistic devices such as tone and style are vastly used by writers to enhance the impact on the reader, to create the spirit of the unexpected, to surprise him or her, and to make the work highly emphatic. Symbols are also widely used equally to the characters of the stories, as they produce the impact on the characters only by their presence, by the profound meaning they have. It is possible to say that both authors have skillfully used the discussed techniques, though each of them in their own way. References Jackson, S. (1949). The Lottery. New York, NY: Farrar, Straus.
